Platinum Jubilee bank holiday – Friday 3 June 2022

The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee in June 2022 ( marking 70-year reign) celebration details have been revealed by Buckingham Palace.
A special extended bank holiday weekend will provide an opportunity for communities and people throughout the United Kingdom to come together to celebrate the historic milestone.
Thursday 2 June is the Spring bank holiday so this creates a four-day Bank Holiday weekend from the Thursday 2nd to Sunday 5th June.
Events will be held across the UK and the Commonwealth, including a live concert at Buckingham Palace, called the “Platinum Party at the Palace”.

- Thursday 2nd June
– The Queen’s Birthday Parade (Trooping the Colour), Platinum Jubilee Beacons
- Friday 3rd June
– Service of Thanksgiving - Saturday 4th June
– The Derby at Epsom Downs, Platinum Party at the Palace
- Sunday 5th June
– The Big Jubilee Lunch, The Platinum Jubilee Pageant
